Attorney Profiles

Joseph E. Winne received his Bachelor of Arts degree at St. Ambrose College in 1972. He continued his education at Hamline University School of Law and graduated with a Juris Doctorate with honors in 1976.

Mr. Winne is a member of the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel. He is a member of the Peoria County, Illinois State, and American Bar Associations. He is a member of the Workers' Compensation Section of the Illinois State Bar Association.

Mr. Winne has been active with the Peoria County Bar Association serving a number of terms as a member of its Board of Directors.

Mr. Winne has been a frequent speaker before the Illinois Municipal League Risk Management Association. Mr. Winne's primary emphasis is in civil litigation, with specific emphasis in workers' compensation and employers' rights and obligations.
